This page explains what ayematey.fi stores in your browser, why, and how you control it. The table below is not a hand-written list: it is generated directly from the site’s own implementation, so it cannot fall out of date.
In short
- We use Google Analytics to measure visitor numbers. The measurement script is not loaded unless you accept the Statistics choice.
- Beyond this, the site has no Google Tag Manager, Matomo, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag or any advertising-related tracking, and we do not share your data with advertising partners.
- Your consent choice concerns only statistics. The Aye Matey reception’s own identifier is necessary for the site to work and does not require separate consent — it is only created once you start a conversation.
What the law requires
We may store information in your browser without consent only when it is strictly necessary for the site to work. For everything else we ask your consent in advance. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page.
How consent works here
We do not use a third-party consent platform such as Cookiebot. The cookie notice is the site’s own code and sends nothing to anyone outside. Your choice is stored in your browser’s localStorage under the key am_consent_v1 — it is never sent to our server.
The Aye Matey reception’s own identifier is necessary for the site to work and is not gated behind consent. It is created only once you start a conversation, and it never carries your name or contact details.

Statistics
